MSFW Special Event Once Upon a Time
JASONGRECH and MSFW Silver Partner Flower Temple have united for this year’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, creating Once Upon a Time…, a fairytale evening designed to captivate and inspire brides-to-be and fashionistas from all across the land. Showcasing all that a white wedding can be, Flower Temple’s Elizabeth Ricci will transform the JASONGRECH Style Office into every bride’s dreams, creating a fantasy wedding reception throughout the venue and providing the perfect backdrop for guests to glimpse a firsthand look at the breathtaking debut bridal collection by JASONGRECH White and the JASONGRECH Spring collection
Guests will be greeted on arrival by a Maitre d’ and escorted to styled tables, nestled among garlands of blooms with flowery chandeliers hanging overhead and rose petals scattered beneath their feet, where they will indulge in champagne and hors d’ouerves as strains of romantic music drift by.
Ricci has a vision for the space that includes endless blooms of orchids, fragrant roses and gardenias, softly draped fabrics and a stunning tree of fairy floss - all in pure white. Having specialised in theming weddings for fifteen years, she is excited about transforming the blank warehouse-style canvas of the JASONGRECH Style Office. Every intimate table setting will carry its own individual theme, all working within the White thread that will weave the entire event together.
Elizabeth Ricci said, “We are creating a room that is very Fifth Avenue New York! It’s what every little girl envisions her wedding day to be – all the elements of a fairytale setting, but with a very elegant and grown up twist.”
The sophistication of the venue will perfectly match the made-to-measure bridal gown collection that JASONGRECH White will be showcasing. Having worked with couture bridal for over eleven years, the designer has finally turned his creative expertise to turn out a breathtaking bridal collection that had the crowds and the industry buzzing at the recent Melbourne Bridal Exhibition. Using intricate French handmade laces, silks as soft as gossamer and accenting it all with unsurpassed attention to detail, Grech has produced a collection of gowns that boasts all the hallmarks of signature JASONGRECH design. Most importantly – the range is designed to complement a woman’s body from top to toe. There is something perfect for any body shape, a skill that comes from years of dressing women to look their absolute best.
